I want to work at a community health center because I’m passionate about providing accessible, compassionate care to underserved populations. I value the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community health while working in a team-oriented, patient-focused environment.
I was born and raised in Mexico and immigrated to the United States at the age of 8. After living in Tucson for a few years, I eventually settled in Douglas, where I attended Douglas High School. I pursued my passion for healthcare and earned my RN from Cochise College in 2019. Over the past few months, I have greatly enjoyed working in acute care at Chiricahua, where engaging with members of our community has been a deeply rewarding experience, complementing my work in corrections. I am currently pursuing my master’s as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and aim to begin serving my community within the next two years. As a proud parent of two children, I am committed to giving back and making a positive impact on both my colleagues and the community I serve.
