Lanaya
Turner FNP-BC, originally from Yakima
Washington, has lived in Arizona since 1988. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for
several years at Yakima
Valley Memorial
Hospital. After moving to Arizona,
she worked at Sierra Vista
Regional Health
Center, as a Critical
Care Nurse and nursing supervisor. She
obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1990. She continued on with her education and
obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing Degree in 1999, graduating Suma Cum
Laude and earned her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate in 2002 from the University of Phoenix.
Lanaya was the 1999 Nurse of the Year at Sierra
Vista Regional Health Center;
was awarded the Cochise College Alliance award in 2000; and was most
professional nurse at Sierra
Vista Regional Health Center
in 2003. Lanaya has a National
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses
Credentialing Center. Lanaya has been with Chiricahua Community
Health Centers, Inc., Bisbee Clinic since 2003.
Lanaya prides herself in providing quality care to all patients of
CCHCI. She is married with one child.
